For residents with special needs, you'll rest assured that Foundation House at Northgate will provide that extra attention. Your physician and other care providers work with the staff at Foundation House to ensure you receive the basic health care services and daily assistance you require.
Personal Attention to Your Needs
The Assisted Personal Care Center provides the ideal blend of personal attention and self-managed independence. The Foundation House Assisted Personal Care Center staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to personal health care needs.
When residents need help with dressing, personal hygiene, diet and medications, you'll find trained, caring personnel here to help. For example, while personal care residents must be able to get to the dining room for meals, we are happy to personally remind residents when mealtime is near and offer to escort them to the Assisted Personal Care Center dining room.
Assisted Care residents also receive help with dressing, bathing, making the bed, taking medications on schedule, and other activities as needed. Blood pressure checks and other minor healthcare monitoring is also provided.
Medical Help Beyond Foundation House
For limited nursing care, you will be assisted by Foundation House in arranging services. For dementia and Alzheimer's patients, or if you require additional medical care, Foundation House at Northgate can help you find Seattle-area housing which meets your needs.
