You can rest assured that at Foundation House you are in the company of the most professional, trained, and experienced team at any retirement community. We take great care of our team members so that they can focus on taking great care of you! Many of our team members have been at Foundation House for over five years. You can count of seeing the same friendly faces year after year. When we do add a new team member, they are carefully and thoroughly screened including a background check to ensure your safety and security.
Pamela Williams, our Executive Director and Administrator began her career at Foundation House at Northgate in 2010 as Marketing Director before becoming Administrator in 2018. She was mentored by Sandy Morgan who opened Foundation House at Northgate in 1997, and worked as Administrator until her retirement in 2018. Pam’s background and experience combined with her compassion for seniors make her profession in retirement living a perfect fit. She finds each day brings a new challenge and many rewards interacting with staff, residents, and their families. At work and in life, Pam helps others and leads with compassion. Pam was born and raised in Colorado then moved to California where she earned her degree and met and married her husband. His job brought them to the Northwest after being hired by the Seattle Fire Department. They have twin daughters and reside in Ballard with one sweet pooch and two entertaining cats. Pam enjoys being with her family, sports and being in the water or on a mountain. She is an active member of the Washington Health Care Association. Pam earned her certification as an Assisted Living Administrator from the Washington Center for Assisted Living recognized by the National Center for Assisted Living and Aging and Disability Services Administration.
Patricia Sharp, RN, Personal Care Director. Patricia loves being a nurse! She’s dedicated to helping you feel your best. Her nursing background includes critical care, pediatrics, case management, and home health care.
Patricia has worked in 11 states – east, south, central, Rockies, desert, and the west! She was born in Ireland, attended nursing school in London, and has lived in the US since 1982.
Steve George, our Head Chef, is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary School with an associate degree in restaurant hotel management from St. John’s University. Steve’s experience in the restaurant industry spans over 30 years, with the first 11 years in fine-dining establishments. He has been Head Chef for Foundation House since opening in 1997. Steve believes that customer service and communication are the two most important factors in running a successful food program. He ensures that all residents’ dietary needs are met to help them be healthy. Steve resides in Snohomish with his wife and a very large dog.
Lynn Creasy, Community Relations Director, joined Foundation House at Northgate in 2018 with a long and distinguished career in the senior industry. She is a former branch manager of a Portland, Oregon-based senior home care business. Lynn’s love of the senior set propels her daily to enhance their lives with authenticity and transparency. Having moved to Seattle by way of Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2018, she brings with her a spouse who works for a global corporate real estate firm, two daughters, and three pets. She loves anything outdoorsy including hiking, sailing, skiing, and anything that is human propelled. Lynn’s life motto is “be grateful, eat more vegetables, and love others.”
Shayna Wong, Activity Director. Shayna’s favorite part about working at Foundation House is being with residents. She loves learning about each resident’s life and experiences and connecting over mutual ideas and interests.
Shayna grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and has lived in Seattle since 2012. When not at work, Shayna enjoys being outdoors and especially hiking and hanging out with friends. She loves drawing, printmaking, crafting, reading, learning new things, and hanging out with her two cats.
Jenica Norris, Activity Assistant. One day, Jenica decided she no longer wanted to work for a big corporation. She quit her job and went back to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant to help those in need. After graduation she found herself in the lobby at Foundation House and the rest is history. She has worked in four different departments at Foundation House and loves feeling as if she is making a difference in people’s lives.
Jenica is a born and raised Seattleite and loves the different seasons that Washington brings each year. She resides in Northgate with her fiancé and their dog Macy. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing and being active.
Carolee Sepe is the hair stylist in the hair studio inside Foundation House. Carolee has been doing her part to make this a more beautiful world for over 40 years. She began her training in Montana and finished in Utah. It was in Utah that she met her husband, who was stationed there in the Air Force. They settled in Seattle after helping Carolee’s folks move here in 1972. Carolee and her husband Michael are proud parents of two fabulous boys who have grown up to be fine men and provide plenty of laughter in the family. Carolee was in her mid-twenties when she purchased her first hair salon in the Wedgwood neighborhood. She stayed there until the building was torn down and she was forced to find another location. Luckily, a spot opened up right across the street! She designed that salon from the floor up and has been there for 26 years. Carolee loves what she does because she can be very creative and it takes so little effort on her part to make others feel good about themselves. The saying, “if your hair looks good, you feel good” is so true.
When Carolee has free time from running two salons (one in Wedgwood and the other here at Foundation House) and her home salon, she loves cooking and baking, movies, camping and visiting friends and family from Idaho to the East Coast and Italy.
Matt Morgan is our Maintenance Director. Matt has experience in construction, landscaping, and heavy equipment operation, and he has worked at Foundation House since 2007. He has a great sense of humor and loves kidding around with the residents. It’s also no secret that Matt’s passion is fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. Matt was raised in Snohomish and currently resides in Arlington on acreage.
Julia, Daytime Receptionist. Julia’s infectious smile and uplifting demeanor helps to put everyone in a cheerful mood. She has worked in guest services for over 10 years and enjoys making your life easier in any way she can. She enjoys people of all ages and has a deep respect for our senior community.
Julia born in Donetsk, Ukraine and grew up in Everett. She has a large extended family, including more than a dozen aunts and uncles, 67 cousins, and 38 nieces and nephews! Julie enjoys going to the gym and travelling with her husband, Jay, reading mysteries, watching movies, and spending time with family.
